What is the maximum load capacity of the device and does it use an electric motor?
The maximum load is now up to 220 lb/100 kg and Speediance uses an electric motor with 2 motors.
Are there cables, belts, or a flywheel?
We use cable（High strength polyethylene fiber thread).
How is resistance achieved?
We use motors to provide resistance（electromagnetic force).

What different heights can the locking mechanism reach?
Gym Monster has 10 different heights of the locking mechanism, including 306mm, 456mm, 606mm, 756mm, 906mm, 1056mm, 1206mm, 1356mm, 1506mm, 1656mm.
Can you use it for overhead pressing?
Yes! You can do overhead presses by moving the pulley assemblies to the pedal.
Can you do squats with this on your back or only on your front?
Yes! You can do both back squat and front squat.
What safety features are in place to prevent overloading your squat?
Out patented Spotter Mode will automatically lower the resistance when you might have reached your limit or overload yourself during work-outs.
*Remember to turn it on before training. And if you lost the grasp of the handle/bar during work-outs with the weight-on, the machine will automatically turn off the weight.
What is the minimum resistance that Speediance supports?

The support arm is made of high-strength carbon structural steel, while the sliding part we use engineering plastic with a small coefficient of friction as the medium.
Is the total resistance 100 kg? Does Speediance have a negative resistance?
The total resistance is 220lbs ( 100KG ). 50KG per arm.
It also has negative resistance, because it also has weight when it retracts, this means you need to use force against it as well.

How many modes of resistance are there?
We have different modes : 1 (SPOTTER) + 4 (STANDARD、CHAINS、ECCENTRIC、CONSTANT）;
SPOTTER : Spotters help you finish your last few reps when your muscles are fatigued, which is much harder to do when training by yourself.
STANDARD : The digital weight provided is constant;
CHAINS : You can simulate the feeling of real chains, getting the benefits at the touch of a single button;
ECCENTRIC : Adds more resistance when your muscles are at their strongest to work your muscles harder in every rep;
CONSTANT : Maintain a balance of tension and contraction forces，used in strength tests and rehabilitation training;

I purchased the Gym Monster after finding it hard to fit in time to go to gym in the morning between waking up, getting myself and the family ready for work and school and then taking them. I had found consistency in training difficult as im a morning person. I had thought about setting up a home gym however I didn't want to take up too much space and buy numerous workout equipment. Having the Speediance in the garage now allows me to work out at my own time and the programs are amazing allowing me to not have to think of what im doing but rather just following the program that I chose to do. Great work guys!

I have pretty much transitioned from going to the gym and working out on the GM as most if not all of the workouts can be done and the weight capacity is plenty.
Exactly what I needed. Compact. Fun. Full gym in small corner of room. Entire family using it. Screen makes it more enjoyable and kids compete against each other. The support is great too. Rapid responses and solutions. I hope this continues, cause it’s first class.
I’ve been using the Speediance Gym Monster since March, and I have to say working out has never been so simple and effective for me throughout the 4 years of my time working out. Before purchasing this homegym I struggled to find a piece of equipment that would do everything all in one. I’ve bought and used adjustable dumbbells, I’ve bought and used resistance straps and nothing ever seemed to give me the feel or pump that I was looking for. Then I stumbled upon the Tonal but they only install onto the wall and they were a bit too expensive for my liking. When I came across Speediance, I read everything about this startup company on Kickstarter and I thought this was a fantastic idea from an incredible team of developers that had many things in mind when it came to this homegym. I immediately feel in love with the fact that it would simultaneously replace each and every other piece of workout equipment that I had bought in the past. This truly became everything that I could ever want and need out of a gym or homegym experience. The design is impeccable, with the sturdy frame and placement board, you don’t have to worry about breaking it. The materials of each and every accessory to me will hold up to the wear and tear that you will put your machine through overtime, as well as the cables that come from the base of the machine. The screen is perfect, it has the same if not better quality than some televisions you see in the store, the AI is fast and not glitchy and the fact that there are updates shows that this is the type of company that is proficient and cares not only about the hardware of the machine but the software as well. The app on my smartphone makes it super easy to be anywhere and create a custom workout or add new movements to my library whenever I’m away from the machine, and being able to see how much you lift or how many calories you burn from the convenience of a smartphone is a great tool. With all that being said I think the Speediance Gym Monster is one of the best home gyms in the market to date. And the brand Speediance is really something special being consistent with their software updates to current models and the creativity of new products like the new adjustable barbell, adjustable bench, Bluetooth ring and especially the new Gym Pal, which to me is the definitive definition of a compact and portable workout device. I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars because each and everyday I feel better and better using my machine. The future is very bright for the company Speediance, their two products are more than just a Tonal alternative. To put it simply SPEEDIANCE is a Tonal REPLACEMENT!!
I will definitely give a 5 stars for this incredible machine. I had owned a lot of smart gym equipment like Vitruvian and tonal but I can say this is definitely far better than them. It is portable, strong and durable. I can use my own incline bench , my own attachment as I was given for 4 attachment clips. The after sale support was fast and excellent. The set up was easy and also most important, I cut my training time for at least 50% and faster to get failure. This is my favourite equipment, even cost me 10k I also will buy..
Still finding my way through all the features... its moderately intuitive to use... I could think of a number of improvements but overall very happy with the purchase. So far - (4 weeks in) I would buy it again.

I have had the Speediance Gym Monster 2 for a 3 weeks now and was an easy set up. My Wife and I have a profile each. I personally don't like going to a gym and this is perfect for us. it has structured programs to follow. Whether they are sports related, or just a strength workout. My wife has selected certain strength exercises she wants to do and put them into a tailored program. I like the diversity of the different programs. The machine is very easy to use. Being home, I am using it a lot, and already noticing the difference in my strength.
Great machine, love the put away footprint, for the price the warranty length is not great, the cables feel rough, bumpy and really annoying when there is a slight twist and you cannot really see it as the cable is all black should have used one with white line strips
Really enjoy the Gym Monster 2, I went for this over other weighted gyms and absolutely love it.
The structured workouts and ease of use are brilliant.
Small issue with the weight belt accessory but Speediance are great to deal with and currently working on a solution.
Small footprint of the machine means I can use it in far more comfortable rooms rather than having to have a traditional weight stack in my garage or outside.
This has been game changer. I don’t have the time to consistently get down to the local gym. So having a whole gym in just a corner of the room gives me no excuse. I love the workouts and the machine is just so convenient and well designed.
As a non-gym going person I was really nervous about both making such a big purchase and when I received it, about starting to use it. But once I got started, moving between positions has become much smoother and efficient. Really really starting to enjoy my sessions!
I have just recently set up my gym monster 2, quality is first thing that comes to mind. The adjustability of the machine is awesome, the free lift function coupled with the Bluetooth ring makes it super easy to turn on the weight from my desired starting position. The interface is super good quality, speakers and all of the inbuilt workouts and music make the workout experience that much better.
I bought the gym monster for my husband and we have both been loving it. Super easy to use, love how you can Change the weight without having to load and unload weight plates. Lots of workouts to choose from if you are like me and don’t like to think about a workout.
I really love Gym Monster 2. It's more than a Gym. It gave me lots of option for all kind of workouts. I am using the device 5-6 times per week. Highly recommand it to everyone.
Had the gym monster for about a month, so far loving it. It's really compact so takes up minimal room on the shed. Was initially concerned 100kg might not be enough resistance but it's so far been pretty humbling how far off that I am (although training higher reps of 15).
All the equipment is sturdy and perfectly functional/for for purpose.
Videos at times don't load properly even though I know it's getting good internet wifi reception. But this is a minor issue for me and and can reload it easily which generally works to resolve the issue.
If the machine stays like it is long term I'll be really happy with the purchase. Replaced essentially all the exercises I do at the gym.
I’ve had the Speediance Gym Monster 2S for about a month now and have been really impressed with it.
I use it for full body workouts, and the biggest thing for me is the convenience. I don’t always have time to get to the gym, so being able to train properly at home makes a huge difference. The build quality feels solid, the resistance is smooth, and I use the eccentric mode all the time - it’s one of my favourite features.
There are also so many programs built in, and I still haven’t explored them all yet, which makes it easy to stay consistent and follow workouts without overthinking it.
What surprised me was how easy it was to set up and how little space it takes, considering you can do a full-body workout on one machine.
I’d definitely recommend it to others. I’m already looking at getting more accessories from them.
This machine is the best, I have been recovering from a frozen shoulder, so unable to attend my usual gym for other 12 months. With this machine I have been able to titrate weights so suit my ability. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Had my Gym Monster 2 now for a couple of weeks. Absolutely love it. It is such great quality and extremely smooth to use. The programs are fantastic or you can also program your own custom workouts, which I tend to do the most, because it’s familiar to me. The rowing bench adds another level, allowing the GM2 to be used as a rowing machine too, as good as I’ve used at the gym. Highly recommended. Now I just need the smart scales to complete the set.

All the family love it, very compact, Great workouts with targeting of areas/workout styles. Only suggestion is that the programming sometimes requires lots of equipment changes/positions- perhaps could be better grouped. Highly recommend especially if don’t want lots of free weights around taking up space.
