I love my GM2. Here's my transformation thus far using speediance (and watching what I eat!!). Before pics were taken July 30th and after ones today. My first workout on the gym monster was July 29th. I'm getting more muscle and definition, but most importantly I feel stronger, my stability has improved, and I just feel good! Still have a weight goal I'm trying to reach. Our whole family has been using for a couple of weeks, and my husband and I have even been doing resistance training sessions together - something we could never do before, because not only couldn't we get to the gym at the same time, but we have such different weights that changing them over between sets and being able to spot each other, just wasn't practical. Cheaper than a gym membership and better than a personal trainer! I purchased the Gym Monster July of 2023 in lieu of maintaining a personal trainer. I struggle with gyms and have only ever achieved results when I use a PT. The Gym Monster has delivered on my expectations with a huge selection of curated programs and the ability to create an endless set of programs from the extensive list of workouts. I now work with my exercise physiologist to tailor programs to my specific needs and goals. Gym Monster 2.0 Purchased this to help keep fit and build strength. As I am over 70 years old and have never trained I find this machine makes exercising both engaging and somewhat addictive. Have mainly used "The Free Lift" setting trying out different movements in "Training ". Now dipping my toes into guided workouts. Would recommend to seniors to build strength and fitness. A great purchase.
My husband and I love our Speediance gym. We are both in our 50s and know the importance of weight training. OBSESSED is an understatement. It’s got my gym mojo back. No more fighting over cable machines and equipment at the gym. I can do a majority of the exercises I was doing at the gym in the comfort of my own home plus some new exercises. I got my Speediance Gym Monster around Halloween 2023, so as I write this review it's nearly 8 months that I have been using the machine for my strength training. So far 7600 minutes of total workout, and over a million pounds of workout volume, using it 4-6 days a week since purchase. I can't say enough good things about it. So many things have changed in my lifestyle, health and strength - I have a lot more desire to workout. The convenience of just using the large-sized touchscreen display to configure what I want to do, and it's just the cables and one accessory for the type of workout I'm doing makes all excuses to workout go away. I work from home, so I find myself adding a 1 15-30-45 min workout here in there. I have an audiobook/podcast to listen to ? How about adding a quick workout for that specific muscle during that time? It's just that easy for me. Tap tap, connect accessory and get to workout. No plates, no free weights. Now that I am 8 months in, I have also seen so many updates to the software after taking feedback from the community, including ideas I sent it myself. Pretty cool, because it can only get better from here as they have shown they're highly interested in taking ideas and executing them. So many updates so far. When I made the decision to purchase, and comparing with others, I didn't want another monthly subscription. I already pay for two other fitness companies for Peloton and Aviron, I wasn't looking for more. And Speediance gave/is giving lifetime membership. I never felt this looking forward to workout as I am now after a long time of lack of motivation for strength training. These six months have been amazing and it's cool that I can do progressive overload myself with high precision of how many pounds I want to. Also simplifies pyramiding. It's pretty annoying to do this with free weights, right? Looking forward to another year of more workouts.
Love it. Awesome personal trainers to teach you and keep you motivated. I have been a cardio person for most my life. This is my first gym equipment purchase for weight specific training. As I’m 57 years old, I need to focus on retaining muscle and to be honest I had no clue how to use weights, so having the combination of trainers and a slim line system that I can have in the house is fantastic. Now I’m weight training every second combined with a jog outside, is an awesome workout.
The whole unboxing and setup process was super simple. I love the small footprint that it takes when stowed away and the speed with which you can set it up and be ready to start working out.
The cables have made my shoulder rehab so much easier to do at home as there is a lot more control over the weight as opposed to using a band.
I really enjoyed doing the fitness assessments and can’t wait till my shoulder is fit again so I can do the chest and shoulder assessments.

For a working couple with two little children, this machine has been a game changer. Whilst I have been disciplined with a basic home gym, the ease of use and built in personal trainers has given my wife a newfound desire to get out and improve her fitness and well-being. The compact design, ease of use and functionality is something that continues to blow my mind. Sure, it's not cheap, but that doesn't mean it's not terrific value when you factor everything in. I cannot recommend this enough.
I couldn't love my GymMonster 2 more - and I haven't even explored all the possibilities yet! I got the Family Plus because I wanted the rower, and it was SO worth it. Rowing is great, as is skiing - and I can even use the GymMonster to simulate swimming, which will be a huge help in preparing for my next triathlon. I had been lifting heavy at the gym, but felt very unsafe doing it by myself, an issue that the GymMonster 2 entirely resolved because I can get in perfect position before turning on the weights, and I can get assist if I need it. This is definitely going to take my strength training to the next level! My boyfriend is also loving it (pictured) - he's 6'5" and still able to use everything well (and I have to say, he was a skeptic that a pulley based machine could replicate his heavy lifts - but he's a convert now:) Also, customer service has been amazing! The entire experience overall has been a joy - there's nothing like getting excited about a product and then having it over deliver:)
I’m loving my new home gym setup! I bought the Speediance I’ve completed a week of a total body muscle building program and I’m in love with it!!! The machine coupled with the workouts are easy to follow. A huge bonus for me, living with rheumatoid arthritis makes working out and following a trainer-led program difficult, but I’ve found it not to be an issue at all! Additionally, the Official Speediance Community is an excellent source of information, support, and more!!
Really Compact, the workout possibility is endless if you are creative, Live the online guided trainings, the online community forum are awesome with live support staff assisting in the forum.

Bought the Gym monster in February 2024, received in March. Previously had a full rack with free weights that never got used. Once I received the Gym monster I started using it daily 5-7 times a week, from quick 5 minute HIIT workouts to long lifting sessions. The fact I can easily switch weights and workout quickly with plans I can follow or customize has kept me going. Where before I would stare at the old rack wondering what I wanted to do and how much weight did I want to move around. This has definitely made my life easier and keeps me working out! Easily 5 stars up to this point!!
I trained in a real gym for many years and was skeptical because of my own demands on different training methods. However, I'm increasingly lacking the time for a commercial gym, which is why I built myself a small home gym. The ceiling height is too low for a cable pull, which is why I basically only had the GM. I've been testing it for two weeks now and I have to say that I haven't missed my old gym for a second. The GM offers so many different ways to train all muscle groups in a targeted manner and also has modes that a normal gym can't offer. After the training sessions, I have the pump of my life and I'm actually totally in love with it 😅

I have been going to the gym since January 1, at least four times a week. In order to keep this going I had to wake up at 4:30 AM every day to beat the crowds. Now with the speediance I can replace my entire routine and work out on my own schedule. No more waiting for machines to open. Additionally, the custom workouts and the tracking of my muscle overload is really helpful. How was originally going to buy my own home gym and quickly saw how expensive and heavy that would be. This machine not only has a small footprint, but also can be moved around easily. I love this machine.
Build quality is great. Good amount of accessories that come with it and love that it comes with attachments to use my own accessories that I use to use in the gym. Been using it consistently for the last couple of months since purchase and 2x firmware updates have come out with improvements so my partner and I can work out together and share programs between our accounts.
Love my new Gym Monster. The order was quick, packaging was excellent and basically plug and play. It is perfect for my goal of strength building and easy to stay on track with my goals.
The amount of different exercises you can do is incredible and unlike other machines which I’m not going to name you don’t have to nail it into the wall. It’s completely free to put where you please. And the speed of setting up this machine is phenomenal. You literally just take it out of the box and the way you go, I’m not joking.
It's fun to work out with. The Bluetooth ring could be smaller, and it would be great if you could route the audio output from the device to your own Bluetooth headphones.
Otherwise, everything is great and high quality.
Still finding my way through all the features... its moderately intuitive to use... I could think of a number of improvements but overall very happy with the purchase. So far - (4 weeks in) I would buy it again.
Addictive! It got me back into training very quickly after a years-long break. A holistic approach with videos, training data, countless exercises and training plans and programs, plus an app! Incredibly motivating. I always look forward to the next workout 🏋️😆😎.

An excellent machine for all exercises, it feels like it is really working the right muscle. It is a bit hard to find the exercises to create a custom routine, since the exercises have different names, but with patience you find them all. I recommend it 100%.
