I love my GM2. It’s providing a new inspiration for training without the hassles of gym memberships, going to gym and struggling for parking and while at in the gym constantly having to deal with people hogging machines whilst playing with their mobile phones. I can train in a focused manner with great guided programs and no distractions. It takes up so little space so it’s perfect for my apartment. So worth the investment - thank you Speediance, you rock !!!
The gym monster is hands down the best home gym on the market. Its compact size makes it a game changer. And its not just for "the youngsters". I am 65 yrs old and my husband is 66 yrs old and we both use it daily. It has helped me gain muscle strength, maintain bone density, improve joint mobility, improve balance and put simply it has improved my overall quality of life. The software is user friendly with tons of programs and movements in the library. And best of all, free lifetime membership. If your on the fence about buying it don't be, its changed my life and it will do the same for you!
Here's my transformation thus far using speediance (and watching what I eat!!). Before pics were taken July 30th and after ones today. My first workout on the gym monster was July 29th. I'm getting more muscle and definition, but most importantly I feel stronger, my stability has improved, and I just feel good! Still have a weight goal I'm trying to reach. Happy Sunday, keep your motivation high and power through those days that you want to quit! ☺️
Our whole family has been using for a couple of weeks, and my husband and I have even been doing resistance training sessions together - something we could never do before, because not only couldn't we get to the gym at the same time, but we have such different weights that changing them over between sets and being able to spot each other, just wasn't practical. Now the machine does the changing for us. And we are both walking around with slight sore muscles - sore in a good way!
I absolutely love my gym pal! The ability to be able to use it in such a small space and have it out of the way for the rest of the day is awesome! I've already noticed improvements in my ability to lift much heavier since I've started with it in September. If you're on the fence with not knowing if this machine will be worth it or not it's definitely worth it. I've been able to create custom workouts with it as well enjoy the already made templates it offers.
The Gym Monster 2 is revolutionary, and that’s sincere. I have been going to the gym regularly for 25+ years and this machine has breathed new life into my fitness. I love it. Eccentric and chain modes are both phenomenal. I have mapped out all of my gym sessions as custom programs and this machine can do everything, and makes many exercises better and more effective. There is NOTHING about the GM2 that I would change. Honestly. If you are thinking about buying one do it. You will not regret your decision.
As a physiotherapist, I'm passionate about functional strength training, particularly using resistance bands or cables. Speediance has exceeded all my expectations. It's incredibly easy to set up and use, takes up minimal space, and eliminates the hassle of manually changing weights. I also love how it syncs with my Apple Watch, keeping all my stats and progress in one place. What truly sets Speediance apart is its smart weight calculation feature based on initial strength assessments. With a one-year-old at home, time is tight and routines are unpredictable. The Speediance Gym Monster 2 has been a total game changer. Gym Monster 2.0 Purchased this to help keep fit and build strength. As I am over 70 years old and have never trained I find this machine makes exercising both engaging and somewhat addictive. Have mainly used "The Free Lift" setting trying out different movements in "Training ". Now dipping my toes into guided workouts. Would recommend to seniors to build strength and fitness. A great purchase.
Cheaper than a gym membership and better than a personal trainer! I purchased the Gym Monster July of 2023 in lieu of maintaining a personal trainer. I struggle with gyms and have only ever achieved results when I use a PT. The Gym Monster has delivered on my expectations with a huge selection of curated programs and the ability to create an endless set of programs from the extensive list of workouts. I now work with my exercise physiologist to tailor programs to my specific needs and goals. Right now, I'm recovering from an accident and the Gym Monster is serving as my primary rehabilitation tool. I'm delighted that there is a consistent cadence of upgrades and improvements to the interface. Very happy with this investment in my health!
OBSESSED is an understatement. It’s got my gym mojo back. No more fighting over cable machines and equipment at the gym. I can do a majority of the exercises I was doing at the gym in the comfort of my own home plus some new exercises. I can do quick chores on rest breaks and of course my dogs love me being home rather than away from them at the gym. Highly recommend to anyone considering it.
My husband and I love our Speediance gym. We are both in our 50s and know the importance of weight training. We are time poor and also not keen on going to a gym and wanted something simple and easy to use. Speediance gives us it all. Compact and easy to use with guided workouts we can do in our home and such a wide range of exercises can do. We are so happy with our purchase.
I got my Speediance Gym Monster around Halloween 2023, so as I write this review it's nearly 8 months that I have been using the machine for my strength training. So far 7600 minutes of total workout, and over a million pounds of workout volume, using it 4-6 days a week since purchase. I can't say enough good things about it. So many things have changed in my lifestyle, health and strength - I have a lot more desire to workout. The convenience of just using the large-sized touchscreen display to configure what I want to do, and it's just the cables and one accessory for the type of workout I'm doing makes all excuses to workout go away. I work from home, so I find myself adding a 1 15-30-45 min workout here in there. I have an audiobook/podcast to listen to ? How about adding a quick workout for that specific muscle during that time? It's just that easy for me. Tap tap, connect accessory and get to workout. No plates, no free weights. Now that I am 8 months in, I have also seen so many updates to the software after taking feedback from the community, including ideas I sent it myself. Pretty cool, because it can only get better from here as they have shown they're highly interested in taking ideas and executing them. So many updates so far. When I made the decision to purchase, and comparing with others, I didn't want another monthly subscription. I already pay for two other fitness companies for Peloton and Aviron, I wasn't looking for more. And Speediance gave/is giving lifetime membership. I never felt this looking forward to workout as I am now after a long time of lack of motivation for strength training. These six months have been amazing and it's cool that I can do progressive overload myself with high precision of how many pounds I want to. Also simplifies pyramiding. It's pretty annoying to do this with free weights, right? Looking forward to another year of more workouts.
Love it. Awesome personal trainers to teach you and keep you motivated. I have been a cardio person for most my life. This is my first gym equipment purchase for weight specific training. As I’m 57 years old, I need to focus on retaining muscle and to be honest I had no clue how to use weights, so having the combination of trainers and a slim line system that I can have in the house is fantastic. Now I’m weight training every second combined with a jog outside, is an awesome workout.
Just received my Gym Pal via Fedex today and writing this after my very first session. Prior i used adjustable dumbbells and it was a big hassle to switch between different weights. That is why I initially i bought Gym Pal. It was very smooth transitioning between different way. It is total game changer for my workout. If you live in a small space like me i can say this product is perfect for you! Zero assembly required. I tightened 2 screws on my adjustable bench and that was it! Hoping to reach advanced classes!
The whole unboxing and setup process was super simple. I love the small footprint that it takes when stowed away and the speed with which you can set it up and be ready to start working out. The cables have made my shoulder rehab so much easier to do at home as there is a lot more control over the weight as opposed to using a band. I really enjoyed doing the fitness assessments and can’t wait till my shoulder is fit again so I can do the chest and shoulder assessments. It’s been fun playing with the different modes And I really believe that that will be the game changer in getting the most out of each workout.
For a working couple with two little children, this machine has been a game changer. Whilst I have been disciplined with a basic home gym, the ease of use and built in personal trainers has given my wife a newfound desire to get out and improve her fitness and well-being. The compact design, ease of use and functionality is something that continues to blow my mind. Sure, it's not cheap, but that doesn't mean it's not terrific value when you factor everything in. I cannot recommend this enough.
I couldn't love my GymMonster 2 more - and I haven't even explored all the possibilities yet! I got the Family Plus because I wanted the rower, and it was SO worth it. Rowing is great, as is skiing - and I can even use the GymMonster to simulate swimming, which will be a huge help in preparing for my next triathlon. I had been lifting heavy at the gym, but felt very unsafe doing it by myself, an issue that the GymMonster 2 entirely resolved because I can get in perfect position before turning on the weights, and I can get assist if I need it. This is definitely going to take my strength training to the next level! My boyfriend is also loving it (pictured) - he's 6'5" and still able to use everything well (and I have to say, he was a skeptic that a pulley based machine could replicate his heavy lifts - but he's a convert now:) Also, customer service has been amazing! I’m loving my new home gym setup! I bought the Speediance I’ve completed a week of a total body muscle building program and I’m in love with it!!! The machine coupled with the workouts are easy to follow. A huge bonus for me, living with rheumatoid arthritis makes working out and following a trainer-led program difficult, but I’ve found it not to be an issue at all! Additionally, the Official Speediance Community is an excellent source of information, support, and more!!
Really Compact, the workout possibility is endless if you are creative, Live the online guided trainings, the online community forum are awesome with live support staff assisting in the forum. you can have multiple users on the machine so you family can all do their workouts, really cant fault this machine !! Bought the Gym monster in February 2024, received in March. Previously had a full rack with free weights that never got used. Once I received the Gym monster I started using it daily 5-7 times a week, from quick 5 minute HIIT workouts to long lifting sessions. The fact I can easily switch weights and workout quickly with plans I can follow or customize has kept me going. Where before I would stare at the old rack wondering what I wanted to do and how much weight did I want to move around. This has definitely made my life easier and keeps me working out! Easily 5 stars up to this point!!
The Gym Pal is great - it doesn't take up a lot of space in our gym room and gives such an awesome workout (happy to share that I am feeling the soreness from my workouts hahah). The app is great and has a lot of plans and individual exercises with pretty great guidance for beginners. I'm looking forward to seeing my results and progression over the next few months!
I trained in a real gym for many years and was skeptical because of my own demands on different training methods. However, I'm increasingly lacking the time for a commercial gym, which is why I built myself a small home gym. The ceiling height is too low for a cable pull, which is why I basically only had the GM. I've been testing it for two weeks now and I have to say that I haven't missed my old gym for a second. The GM offers so many different ways to train all muscle groups in a targeted manner and also has modes that a normal gym can't offer. After the training sessions, I have the pump of my life and I'm actually totally in love with it 😅

This has made, for me at least, the 'squat' based exercises much more stable and allows me to maintain a better posture than when using the bar balanced on the shoulders. Highly recommend it.

How much ceiling height do I need for pull-ups?
The Gym Monster Ultra is 2.27 m tall when unfolded with the lat pulldown arms fitted. For pull-ups, your head rises above the pull-up bar at the top of the movement, so you need additional clear space above the machine for your head. A ceiling that only just clears the product is not high enough for pull-ups.
Before ordering, measure your ceiling height and allow enough extra clearance for your full movement, including above your head. Check for beams, lights and other overhead obstructions too. The extra clearance needed varies by user; the product height alone is not a minimum ceiling-height recommendation.
How quickly can I set it up?
Gym Monster Ultra needs basic assembly: the upper arms and the screen attach on delivery. Connect it to power, complete the on-screen calibration if prompted, and you are ready to train. No drilling or wall mounting.
Does it require a Wi-Fi connection?
You can train offline at any time. Connect to Wi-Fi for software updates, workout syncing and the full content library.
How do I choose the right workout mode?
Select your goal on the screen, for example muscle building, fat loss or cardio. Follow the recommended sessions, or build your own workout.
How do I adjust the resistance?
From the touchscreen, with voice control, or from the Bluetooth Ring at your fingertips, without breaking your set.
Does it receive software updates?
Yes. The machine notifies you when updates are available. Keep it connected to Wi-Fi for the latest features and performance improvements.
